
Jimboomba Athletics had another successful Downunder Championships bringing home 14 medals & several
top 8 finishes.
Backrow: Mikala, Oliver, Julian, Lindsay, Liam.
Frontrow: Aiden,Kendal,Jessica, Jaimee & Miranda.
Absent: Blake Rogers, Joshua Foote, Chloe Lees.
Changes to the National Pathway for
Athletes 13-19 yrs
Athletics
Australia
has made a number of significant changes to the national competition
structure for athletes aged 13-19 years, for the 2010/2011
season. These changes provide
a clear and more defined pathway for athletes, improve quality
and quantity of
competition and
facilitate the transition
of athletes from schools and Little
Athletics
through to Senior Athletics clubs.
The following two
(2) competitions are at the forefront of
the national pathway.
The main characteristics of these competitions are outlined
below.
Australian All
Schools (Melbourne,
December 2010)

continue to conduct junior state
championships throughout the year, namely the Queensland All Schools

Australian All Schools 2010
These championships will be held on the
4th & 5th of December at the Rieschiecks Reserve,
at George street, Doncaster, Victoria.
Australian Junior & Youth
Championships 2011
Will be held on the 10th to the 13th March
2011 @ Sydney Olympic Park.
